Week 3 Results

1t. English – 14-2 + FantasyDraft Win

1t. Wendell – 14-2

3. Papson – 13-3

4. Goodwin – 12-4

The RSO staff turned it around in Week 3 with Kyle and Stephen leading the way at 14-2 each in game picks. Now that the guys have had 3 weeks to study each team, expect these types of performances more likely to happen than the abysmal predictions from Week 2. As for fantasy picks under our new FantasyDraft format, Kyle not only was the best of the four RSO staffers, but he took the crown in the first ever RSO-Fantasy Draft Beat the Expert Contest. It was a good thing that Matt was the “RSOEXPERT” for the week (Kyle will get that chance this week for his efforts last week), or else nobody would have won a ticket into Fantasy Draft’s $100,000 Shotgun Contest this week (it should be noted that he did finish a solid 20 out of 50). Stephen had an incredible week going 14-2 and finishing 3rd in the Beat the Expert Contest, but he was no match for Kyle. After a down week, Goody still is in good shape in the overall standings and will look to rebound in Week 4.

Overall Standings

1. English – 29-19 + 2 fantasy wins (Week 1 & 3)

2. Goodwin – 29-19 + 1 fantasy win (Week 2)

3. Wendell – 28-20

4. Papson – 26-22

Things got much tighter in the season-long race in Week 3 and everyone is back over .500. Goodwin and English have identical 29-19 records, but English has the slight edge with his 2 fantasy wins to Goodwin’s 1 win. Wendell and Papson both had solid weeks and will look to cut into the lead this week (Papson is predicting a top 10 finish in the Beat the Expert this week).

FantasyDraft Lineups

We are excited to be partnering this season with FantasyDraft, the official daily fantasy partner of Reality Sports Online. Every week, we will all participate in a weekly FreeRoll contest exclusive to Reality Sports Online users. For our staff’s little yet heated internal competition, the person with the best lineup for the week will earn the fantasy point for the week and get to be the “RSOEXPERT” in the following week’s FreeRoll. In addition to $250 in prizes, anyone who beats the expert (i.e. the account named RSOEXPERT) will win a ticket into FantasyDraft’s $100,000 Shotgun contest the following week. There are only 50 slots in the Beat the Expert contest this week, and our team already owns four of those slots. The slots are on a first come first serve basis, so go sign up as soon as you finish reading this email!

Here are our lineups for this week:

RSO Staff Picks: Week 2

Updated: April 21st 2015

Week 1 Results

Co-Founder & COO Stephen Wendell is off to a great start after not only getting the most games correct, but taking 2 out of the 3 fantasy pick categories. The other Founder, Matt Papson, went out on a limb in week 1 and, well, the limb broke. Matt Goodwin and Zach Wendkos both picked the same number of games correctly, but Wendkos has the edge thanks to his on-point bust picks (Rodgers, Newton, Fitzgerald). Here are the full standings after a wild and crazy week 1 of NFL football:

1. Wendell – 11-5 + 2 fantasy wins (+1 Sleepers, +1 Stars)
2. Wendkos – 9-7 + 1 fantasy wins (+1 Busts)
3. Goodwin – 9-7 + 0 fantasy wins
4. Papson – 7-9 + 0 fantasy wins
